Argyll

Co-ordinator: Charlotte Lee

The Argyll network started in September 2003 and has been meeting every month since then. The group has grown over the 2 years and there are now 63 women listed in Argyll.  It has been interesting and encouraging to see the progress and career developments, achieved by the women coming to the meetings. We now meet at several locations in Argyll.

Action for South Africa (ACTSA) for several years has campaigned to provide women in Zimbabwe with sanitary products. Pads or tampons cost more than 50% of the average monthly wage in Zimbabwe. Yet without safe sanitary pads or tampons women and girls cannot work or go to school, or risk infections. Find out more and how you can help from their website.
