Listening Skills

Workshop Title: Listening Skills
Workshop Leader: Margaret Jappy

Description:
Effective communication is a TWO-WAY thing, involving at least 2 parties who speak and listen to each other.

We will explore some of the skills and conditions necessary for effective communication to take place. In small group exercises we will -
• personally experience what it is like to be “actively” listened to, as well as listening “actively” yourself

• practise using good listening skills in a safe environment, which is a great way of learning how to enhance your communications and your relationships in general.
