Assertiveness


 

Description:

If you can be assertive in your working and private life, you are less likely to suffer the negative effects and frustration caused by not getting what you want. You may not always get exactly what you want, but being assertive means you will feel satisfied that you have 'stood up ' for yourself and not given in to aggressive or passive behaviours.

The workshop will cover:

The benefits of being assertive.

The importance of valuing yourself and others.

Specific assertiveness techniques.

How to say 'no' without discomfort

How to express positive and negative feelings without shame or embarrassment.
