Women@Work E-bulletin August 2009

Welcome to the Women@Work e-bulletin! It contains information from the EQUALITIES UPDATE produced by the Highland Council and also distributed by Highlands & Islands Equality Forum, and links to newsletters, press articles and other information which have been received by W@W, together with links to what’s new on the Women@Work website.

Women@Work information

  • W@W have teamed up with the Social Enterprise Academy to offer a Women’s Leadership Programme. Further details are available on the website in the Document Library under Events and Training. Deadline for applications is 17th August.

  • W@W is also looking for network co-ordinators for the Moray and Badenoch & Strathspey networks. Further details on the website in the Jobs section. Closing date for applications is 24th August.

  • Questionnaires will be heading your way … We want to put on events that you want, and can attend, and for this we need to have feedback from our members! We will shortly be sending a questionnaire by e-mail, asking for your thoughts on training sessions and times. We’d be grateful if you would spend the few minutes (honest – it won’t take longer!) and send back your thoughts. Thank you to everyone in Lochaber who replied to our pilot questionnaire. It is still not too late to send your feedback.

  • Women@Work network members who wish to promote their own business or services across the network can have a page on the W@W website – for details see member's page on the W@W website or contact us by email on womenatwork@weascotland.org.uk
