Community Leadership Project - Free Training Starts January 2013

The Community Leadership Project (CLP) will develop a new generation of role models and leaders from Scotland's multi-cultural communities.  It aims to "Entice & Excite" participants to get involved in Scotland's outdoor environment, develop their skills, competence in engaging people to enjoy, learn about and protect our natural environment.  It's the opportunity of a lifetime... and a fantastic way to get all communities to access and explore Scotland's wonderful countryside.

We're looking for participants aged 18+ who:

  • Have the drive to give back to the community
  • Want to be local environmental ambassadors and lead local projects
  • Want to be challenged to learn and grow as leaders in the community 

They  will gain the following transferable and national qualifications:

  • Outdoor 1st Aid Certificate
  • Sports Leaders UK Training Level 3 Certificate in Basic Expedition Leadership Skills
  • John Muir Award
  • MIDAS mini bus driving training
