W@W Managing Yourself Through Change - Sutherland
Posted on: Saturday 14th January 2012
Event Date: Friday 24th February 2012
12.00 - 14.00
With Lynda Benham
Once upon a time people viewed change as something that happened occasionally and had to be dealt with before going back to business as usual.
However, as the song says, in the world in which we live now, ‘The only thing that stays the same is change…’ This can feel particularly difficult if the changes are unexpected and/or unwanted.
Yet your ability to engage with change in a positive and creative way and to use it as an opportunity to learn and to grow, will have a huge impact on your health and happiness.

By the end of the session you will :
- Understand the stages that people go through in response to change
- Have applied this to your own experience of change
- Have explored a range of different perspectives towards change
- Have identified which ways work for you.
The event is free and refreshments will be available for £3.00
Pre booking is requested and can be made via the online booking form or contact WEA: tel. 01463 710577 or e-mail womenatwork-admin@weascotland.org.uk
