We all know that life is full of ups and downs, so how can we be happy even when stuff happens? How do we bounce back?

This workshop offers tried and tested tools that can help us make the most of the good times and be more resourced to deal with the bad times.

Over the course of the day, Margot Henderson will share a few simple practices to help calm the mind, relax the body and build our natural resilience.

Activities include:
  • Body mind mapping
  • 5 a day feel-good factor
  • Breathing-space
  • Deep relaxation
  • Mindfulness and movement
Margot is an experienced tutor and workshop facilitator with a history of working with the WEA. A Scots - Irish poet, storyteller and community artist with a background in community education and integrative arts therapy, Margot also practices and teaches mindfulness meditation. 

Wear comfortable clothing.
Tea and coffee will be available. Please bring a packed lunch.
