Ross-shire: Women cycling taster sessions. Get started with cycling off road and discover the skills you need to feel more confident. Join in with our 2 hour taster sessions organised for women of all ages to enjoy riding local trails. These sessions are fun with good company and supportive advice. Listed below are the 2017 dates and venues:

Muir of Ord, Clash Wood

Sat 24 June, Sat 1 July & Sat 26 Aug

Contin, Contin Woods
Sat 8 July & Sat 29 July

Taster sessions for beginners 10am - 12noon
No experience necessary. You will cover core cycling skills to develop bike-handling techniques. Basic bike safety checks, kit advice, and trail-side repairs.

Tasters sessions for improvers 2pm-4pm
These are for any female riders with some experience who would like to take part in a taster session to improve their existing skills with progression to more technical trail features. Coached by Jenny Aungier of Mtbhighlands.

Further dates on demand so let us know you're interested even if you can't make any of above. Costs: £15 per session but there are free places available for all participants from within the community council areas of Contin, Marybank, Scatwell & Strathconon; or Muir of Ord.
