Voluntary Action Fund (VAF) Community Grant has been extended to March 2013. Aimed at Scotland’s smaller community groups and voluntary organisations, the Community Grant provides grants of up to £1,000 and free training to groups with an annual income under £25,000. These small, volunteer-led community groups make a vital difference to their communities. Their activities keep communities vibrant and encourage community empowerment and participation.
