Salary Range: Grade D £30,388 to £34,728 per annum (pro rata)
The Workers' Educational Association is a charity and the UK's largest voluntary sector provider of adult education. We are a charity with a strong sense of social purpose, dedicated to bringing great teaching into the heart of local communities. All our educational provision is developed with this in mind and our courses can be set up almost anywhere - for example in clubs, community centres, village halls, schools, pubs or where people work. WEA are looking to appoint an Education Development Manager, who will be expected to lead and manage on the development and delivery of the full range of WEA activities in Community and Workplace based adult learning.
The post-holder will have the ability to develop and maintain effective links with external strategic bodies; ability to win resources, prepare funding applications; manage a range of budgets and projects and manage the work of Course Tutors and other staff to ensure the highest quality of adult learning.
We offer generous terms and conditions including 30 days holiday (plus bank holidays), pension scheme - subject to eligibility. Please note holiday entitlement, including bank holidays is pro rata for part time staff.
